Tréguennec in Pays Bigouden

Treguennec a little village from the « pays bigouden », is also part of the Bay d’Audierne seaside.  A long and superb 12km stretch of sand and pebbles linking from North to South the beach  of Penhors in Pouldreuzic to the one of La Torche in Plomeur. Treguennec sits a few kilometre North of La Torche a mythical spot having hosted various international surf, stand up paddle and windsurf competitions since the mid-eighties.

The main beach in Treguennec, where “Begood Surf school” is based and will be welcoming guests, is a stunning beach, classed as “of European importance”. A life guard station is temporary set up every summer (July/August). Two large parking area are allowing easy access, close to the beach access point. By clear weather the breath taking view of the Bay d’Audierne makes the location kind of exceptional. It provides an ideal atmosphere for family, surfers and those looking for calm and safe day at the beach.

Kermabec beach faces straight West and is ideally exposed to most swell directions. The quality of the sand banks offers great surf conditions. Waves are ideal for all level of surfers.

For a long time the Treguennec beach was considered by a few in the know as a hidden gem. But over the years word of mouths have spread the secret.
